CHENNIMALAI MARATHON

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for the Chennimalai Marathon 2026 (scheduled for 30 August 2026 in Chennimalai, Erode, Tamil Nadu) through this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between the participant ("Participant", "You") and the event organizers.

2. Event Eligibility & Categories

The event offers two distinct running categories:

• 3.5 KM Fun Run: Open to participants aged 5 to 13 years old (on event day) and recreational runners.
• 7 KM Timed Run: Open to participants aged above 13 years old up to 70 years old.

Participants must register in the category corresponding to their verified age as calculated from their Date of Birth against the event date (30 August 2026). The organizers reserve the right to verify age documents prior to race kit issuance.

3. Registration & Payment Terms

All online registrations are subject to the applicable registration fee. Payments are securely processed through authorized PCI-DSS compliant and RBI-approved online payment gateways via our merchant entity, Zeblio (managed by SNS Emporium), which manages and operates the official Chennimalai Marathon event portal. A registration is only considered complete and confirmed once online payment authentication succeeds and an official T-Shirt/Bib number is assigned by the system.

4. Medical Fitness Declaration

By completing the registration, you explicitly confirm and declare that you (or your ward, if registering a minor) are physically fit, have trained sufficiently, and have no medical condition that would make participation in a road running event hazardous. The organizers, sponsors, and volunteers shall not be held liable for any injury, illness, or health complication arising during or after the event.

5. Rules of Conduct on Race Day

Participants must wear their assigned official race Bib number visibly on their chest throughout the run. Any modification, swapping, or transferring of Bib numbers to another individual without written permission from the organizers is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate disqualification.

6. Intellectual Property & Media Rights

By participating in Chennimalai Marathon 2026, you grant the organizers and event partners the irrevocable right to use photographs, motion pictures, video recordings, or any other record of the event containing your likeness for promotional, broadcast, and marketing purposes without compensation.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of event registration or payment processing shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Erode, Tamil Nadu.

8. Event Sponsorship & Partner Terms

Organizations and individuals registering as event sponsors agree to contribute the chosen package amount (Title, Gold, Silver, Bronze, or Custom). Sponsorship payments are collected with 0% payment gateway charges. Sponsorship contributions are non-refundable once event promotional materials, banners, or t-shirts have been sent for printing. Sponsors receive marketing deliverables, logo placement, and VIP access as agreed at the time of sponsorship.
